Our test on matter will be on Wednesday. A study guide will be sent home on Tuesday. Please study and review the following at home:
centimeter milliliter mass solid liquid gas property ways to change the shape of a solid ALL students need to have a ruler at school for math. They should not be bringing it back and forth from home to school. It is very difficult to get through a math lesson when students do not have their own rulers. Please ask your child if he/she has a ruler at school. Thank you!
On Thursday, February 5th, we will be conducting a Math Facts Race in our homeroom class. I will be verbally saying an addition or subtraction fact from #'s 1-10. Students should be able to quickly answer the problem. The class winner will compete in the school Math Fact Race on Tuesday, February 10th. PRACTICE YOUR ADDITION AND SUBTRACTION FACTS AT HOME!!!
Study Island is up and running. All homeroom students have been added. I do not assign assignments to do at home. This is for extra support for students to work on independently.
Study the following for the unit test:
conservation continent geography globe landforms resource suburb desert climate cardinal directions compass rose reduce reuse recycle map key map scale natural resources and how we use them Review the last two chapters for the unit test tomorrow. See previous posts for vocabulary to study tonight.
Now that we are halfway through the school year many of the beginning of the year school supplies need to be replenished. All students should have their own sharpened pencils, erasers, a pencil sharpener, and crayons. Please check with your child and make sure he/she is prepared every day. Instruction time is wasted when we have to stop to sharpen pencils. Thank you!
This Friday will be our science test on Changes in Habitats. Please review the following, along with the study guide that will be sent home on Wednesday.
